The Dubai Silicon Oasis Study Centre which provides mathematics and English for children of 6 years and above and of all abilities is situated in the newly created Dubai Digital Park.  With the advent of Kumon Dubai providing a hybrid model of learning for your child’s needs it is in the perfect location to make this wonderful appearance in our community. 

Our goal is to nurture all students to become independent and confident self-learners, not just in mathematics and English but in all aspects they apply to themselves in study by fostering the right study skills and attitude to learning. 

Our centre will be open four days per week either online or in-centre. We offer parents and children the option of both as well as whether you wish for your child to study through our paper or tablet worksheets (contact us to find out more).   It is very important that we select the best options that will work best with your child and their needs. 

It is our goal to ensure that every child truly feels their own potential when they come to our centre and with it, our team is ready to welcome you.

About the Instructor

Hello! My name is Nouf Kloub I am a Kumon instructor. Education is my passion, and I have been working with children for several years, Prior to going through the training with the Kumon Program and its methodology,  I also spent some time volunteering with a non-profit organization who works with refuges,  whose vision is to aid the development and well-being of disadvantaged children by providing amongst other things, much  needed education into their lives. Through these experiences, I have worked on myself as both an instructor and as an individual. I truly enjoy working with children and being able to leave a positive mark in their lives at such an early stage in their education.

As an extensively trained and professional Kumon Instructor, I look forward as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement.

At my center, we will implement the unique Kumon Method through individualized math and English programmes. We will develop each student by allowing them to progress at their own pace, working with specially designed worksheets that teach lessons in small progressive steps consistently. 

Working hand in hand with parents will help each child reach their potential.

How long does study take?

The time taken to complete a day's work may be around 30 minutes per subject. The study time is completely down to each individual and the level of the programme they are currently at.

I heard about this Kumon and searched for it, and then I went to the course.. Fortunately for me, I found a highly qualified and skilled teaching staff.. They know how to deal well with all levels of students of all ages.. I notice that my daughter is improving in mathematics and in the English language Well, I thank the two teachers, Miss Nouf and Mesh Bushra, for their good treatment and their wonderful way of teaching.

I must say that I was very much impressed with Kumon just within few days of joining. My 7 year old daughter usually makes her own cards and surprises me every-time writing something on it. One day she did the same, and I literally asked her “did you write this?” To my surprise it was perfectly written, neat spacing and following all letter rules!! (Attached pic) This was 4-5 days after she started her Kumon. I have to say Ms. Bhagaysree is excellent with kids. The way she drives the kids them pushing their limits, I’m amazed. By God’s Grace, Till now Akshaya has never missed a day in doing both her Math & English worksheets. She makes it a point to carry her iPad wherever she goes or how much ever late it is at night, she finishes it. She has never missed even a day. I’m so thankful to Ms.Bhagaysree that now I can be worry-free!

Students can start learning with Kumon in Dubai from the age of six upwards. We currently have students as young as two years old studying with us, ranging all the way up to those about to go to university; Kumon helps children of any age and any ability. The sooner children begin, the earlier they can start developing skills to gain the greatest cumulative benefit; as soon as you feel your family is ready to make the commitment to long-term study, Kumon will be ready to help you achieve your goal.
Kumon offers much more than extra lessons and differs from traditional teaching in the classroom. Rather than preparing children for a particular test or assessment, Kumon empowers students to learn for themselves, through individualised instruction and carefully developed worksheets.

As well as developing key skills in maths, each Kumon student will work towards building their independent learning skills and confidence in their own abilities. This means that a Kumon student will not be dependent on – or limited by – the skills and knowledge of others.
Kumon is a self-learning programme with each student receiving regular support from their Instructor. The carefully developed worksheets teach students how to find the answer for themselves, whilst their Instructor offers guidance when necessary. The key role of each Kumon Instructor is to observe their students working, either in the centre or their online class, making sure that work is set at the right level and that they are developing at the right pace.

Following a diagnostic test, a study plan is set to develop the ability of the child and to progress them beyond the Kumon International Standard (an international approximation of their school level) regardless of their starting point. As a global programme, Kumon does not follow a school curriculum, but rather is complementary to curricula across the world.
